Mushroom Swiss Burger (Keto)
A keto mushroom Swiss burger built from a seared beef patty topped with butter-sauteed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese. Garlic, thyme and black pepper season the meat and mushrooms. Served wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves with a smear of mayonnaise instead of a bun for a low-carb plate.

Instructions
1
Prep
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form one patty, pressing a shallow dimple in the centre.
2
Saute
Melt the butter over medium heat, add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic and cook 5 to 6 minutes until golden and dry.
3
Sear
Raise heat to medium-high and lay the patty in the same skillet, cooking 3 to 4 minutes per side until a dark crust forms.
4
Melt
Pile mushrooms with thyme onto the patty, top with Swiss and cover off the heat 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese slumps.
5
Plate
Spread mayonnaise over the lettuce leaves, set the cheesy mushroom patty inside and wrap the leaves around it to serve.
