Instructions

Prep Heat oven to 200C/400F. Boil the ziti in salted water until just under tender, then drain. Crush the garlic cloves.

Build Stir the marinara with garlic and oregano. Mix the drained ziti through the sauce until every piece is coated.

Bake Layer half the ziti in a baking dish, dot with ricotta, then add the rest and top with mozzarella. Bake over medium heat at 200C/400F for 20 minutes until bubbling.

Crisp Scatter Parmesan on top and grill over high heat for 3–4 minutes until the cheese turns golden and blisters in spots.

Plate Rest the ziti 5 minutes to set. Spoon onto plates and scatter with torn basil to serve.
