Graveyard Brownies
Fudgy brownie squares buried under crushed-cookie 'soil', with an Oreo half standing up as a tombstone. Any chocolate sandwich cookie works.

Instructions

Melt
melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring, until smooth. Cool 5 minutes.

Mix
whisk in the sugar, then 3/8 beaten egg (18g) and the vanilla, until glossy. Fold in the flour, cocoa and salt.

Bake
pour into the lined tin and bake 22 minutes at 180C / 350F, until the top is crackly and a skewer comes out with moist crumbs.

Cool
cool in the tin 30 minutes, then cut into 2 squares.

Graveyard
scatter the cookie crumbs over each square and stand an Oreo half upright as a tombstone.
