Instructions

1

Prep

Peel and roughly chop 400g carrots. Peel 2 medium oranges, segment, remove pips (about 260g total). Finely grate 30g fresh ginger. Measure 600ml coconut water, 50g chia seeds, 40g hemp seeds, 30g ground flaxseed, 0.5 tsp turmeric, 2 tbsp lemon juice, and 8-10 ice cubes.

2

Blend

Divide ingredients evenly between two blenders, or blend in two batches. For each batch: add half the carrots, orange segments, coconut water, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseed, ginger, turmeric, and lemon juice to a blender. Add 4-5 ice cubes and blend on high speed 90 seconds until completely smooth and frothy, with carrots fully broken down.

3

Finish and plate

Check consistency of each batch; add a splash more coconut water if too thick and blend 15 seconds. Pour each batch into a tall glass and serve immediately.
